Tampa Tasty Craft Beer

Our Story

PASSIONATE CRAFTERS

We opened our doors to the public on September 18, 2015, but the brewery made its first official beer in the garage of native Floridians, Josh and Jacqui Garman, after they received a “Mr. Beer Kit” one Christmas from Josh's mom, Marsha. Marsha passed away soon after, but the gift she gave lives on.

Today, Hidden Springs Ale Works is a family-owned and operated brewery located on historic Franklin Street in Tampa Heights creating fun, nostalgic and tasty craft beverages. Whether you’re in our tasting room, on the water, or sitting around the fire, we bring people together to experience beer the best way possible — with friends & family.

OUR MANIFESTO

HIDDEN SPRINGS IS A PLACE WHERE WE ABIDE NO HATRED & EXIST TO CREATE COMMUNITY, GREAT TASTES, & CONNECTIONS.

OUR TEAM

BRIGHT, CREATIVE & PASSIONATE.
Some of the best beers were born from breaking the rules. Our beer breaks a lot of rules thanks to a team that brings a deep sense of whimsy but also knowledge. We craft beer to be enjoyed and savored. We are passionate people who embrace what it takes to create the products we make and the service we provide.

OUR PRODUCTS

WELL-CRAFTED, NOSTALGIC & FUN.
Our brewers are magicians who craft drinks that conjure happy memories and our bartenders are hospitality mavens who curate an experience that elevates beer to new heights. We create imaginative products for grown-ups that are nostalgic and playful because we all need a reminder to have some fun.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

WE, BEFORE ME.
Our products reflect an ethos that's collaborative and open-minded. We're always looking for ways to elevate everyone we work with from our suppliers, retail partners, fellow breweries, patrons, and team mates.

WHAT WE’RE DOING DIFFERENTLY

INVESTING IN GOOD THINGS.
Small businesses are an intricate part of growing our community. That's why we work with Florida-based vendors whenever possible. We also invest in local nonprofit organizations to support science education, community enrichment & childhood cancer research.
